FAQs
What can I expect in our first session?
Our first session is simply a conversation. We’ll explore what’s bringing you in, what feels stuck or heavy, and what you’re hoping to experience more of. I’ll ask thoughtful questions, offer reflections, and make sure you have space to get a sense of my style and whether it feels supportive for you.
Do you offer virtual sessions?
Yes. I provide secure telehealth therapy for adults in California and New York.
My work often supports people looking for mindfulness-based therapy, somatic therapy, or an ACT therapist who brings both clinical skill and grounded presence.
What do you specialize in?
I specialize in helping adults navigate:
Anxiety, stress, and burnout
Chronic pain and chronic health conditions
Relationship patterns and identity exploration
Mind-body reconnection and nervous system regulation
My style is especially supportive for people seeking a holistic psychologist in Los Angeles, or therapy that integrates both evidence-based and somatic approaches.
What is your therapeutic approach?
My style is curious, approachable, and warm and blends:
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
Mindfulness and self-compassion practices
Somatic awareness and gentle nervous system work
Cognitive-behavioral tools when helpful
I aim to help you create more space inside yourself—so you can respond to life with clarity, flexibility, and alignment.
How long are sessions? How often do we meet?
Sessions are 50 minutes, usually weekly or every other week depending on your needs and capacity. We can adjust as we go.
Do you take insurance?
I do not accept insurance, and have no direct contact with insurance companies. I’m an out-of-network provider. Many clients receive partial reimbursement through their PPO plan. I can provide a monthly superbill to submit to your insurance; it is ultimately up to you to gather that info prior to scheduling and to submit the superbills.
What is your fee?
My fee is $300 per 50-minute session.
If you have questions about this, we can talk about it openly.
What’s your cancellation policy?
I ask for 48 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations or missed sessions are billed at the full fee.
How do I get started?
You can reach out through my contact form to schedule a free 15-minute consultation. We’ll talk about what you’re looking for and see if it feels like a good fit.
